Adam Ťápal

Adam came to the MCL in 2013 as a part of the Erasmus Mundus program and stayed for two semesters.

Although a part of the experience was taking also regular classes, it soon turned out that working in Baruch’s lab would (voluntarily) take a large part of his time schedule during the week.

His time spent here helped shape him significantly into who he would professionally be in the next couple of years –his view of how research is done, how a research lab should work, and what he wants to do as a researcher in psychology.

Currently, he is stepping out of academia to work in industry as a data analyst / data scientist. He still cherishes his experience in psychometrics, though, and his affinity towards programming started while he was figuring out how to create an experiment in PsychoPy in Baruch’s lab.
