RIVKA ( RIKA) AVIV (MA, Lab Manager)

Rika received her B.A in Psychology from Tel-Hai Academic College and worked in Eitam Lab as a research assistant.

She then pursued an MA in the "Brain and Psychopathology" program in Haifa University. In her thesis, supervised by Dr. Oded Klavir & Prof. Baruch Eitam, they showed that mice can be trained to press a lever solely for the appearance of light, and how this behavior is mediated by different neural pathways.

Currently, Rika is working on her PhD, studying the role of striatal neural circuits in reinforcement from effectiveness.

Rika is also the manager of Eitam Lab and oversees various lab research projects.
